Children

It is preferable to be able to consult your child from the age of 7-8. It is important to understand that a first visit does not necessarily correspond to a treatment program.

The purpose of this first appointment is to make an initial assessment of your child’s occlusion, to establish a first contact with your child and to make an initial diagnosis.

If no treatment is undertaken, your child will be re-examined once a year to ensure bone growth and the proper development of permanent teeth. If necessary, a complete check-up will be carried out when the last decidual teeth are lost, as the child moves from mixed dentition to full permanent dentition.

Teenagers

The age bracket between 11 and 15 is when most full orthodontic treatments are performed.

They generally correspond to the loss of the last milk teeth and the eruption of the last permanent teeth on the arch. This is the age when dental crowding, spacing and incorrect occlusion can be corrected in their entirety.

These anomalies won’t correct themselves, so this is the middle age when most parents will bring their children to the orthodontist to make the necessary corrections.

Second molars usually come out around age 12, and wisdom teeth between 15 and 18.

Adults

Major technological developments in recent years have made orthodontic treatment more accessible to adults.

Innovative, revolutionary techniques such as aligners (transparent tray systems), self-ligating lingual bracket systems or all-ceramic external brackets enable a large number of adult patients to benefit from discreet treatment.

They can be performed at any age, with maximum comfort and discretion, and with the certainty of very significant results in a short time.

No one is too old to benefit from orthodontic treatment, and we can deliver treatment that’s effective, comfortable, discreet and very fast!
