Transparent aligners are thermoformed aligners with a progressive action. These aligners are generally changed every two weeks. They must be worn at all times, but are removed during meals, when drinking coffee or juice… or when smoking. They are virtually invisible, making for an almost perfect “aesthetic” treatment. Unfortunately, they do not have a universal indication, and it’s up to your practitioner to decide whether or not to use this technique.
What’s more, aligners can be temporarily removed without affecting the duration and quality of treatment plans, for important professional events – such as a meeting with a large number of people, actors, singers or politicians.
